ZekiSales was born out of frustration. We watched local businesses struggle with outdated, imported POS systems that didn't understand VAT, local languages, or the unique needs of Sri Lankan retail.
In 2019, our founders were helping a family-owned pharmacy in Colombo migrate from a paper ledger to digital. Every software they tried was either too expensive, required a foreign currency subscription, or simply didn't handle Sri Lankan tax correctly.
So they built their own. What started as a small billing tool grew into a full platform — inventory, loyalty points, multi-branch management, service centre modules, and real-time analytics — all designed around how Sri Lankan businesses actually operate.
Today, ZekiSales powers 500+ businesses across Sri Lanka, from single-counter kiosks in Galle to multi-branch pharmacy chains in Colombo. We're proud to be the only POS platform built entirely in Sri Lanka, for Sri Lanka.
